- 11 whole chicken, spatchcocked (backbone removed)
- 26-8 piri piri or bird's eye chilies
- 34 cloves garlic
- 42 tbsp smoked paprika
- 51/4 cup olive oil
- 61/4 cup lemon juice
- 71 tbsp oregano
- 81 tsp salt
- 91 red bell pepper
- 10Rice or fries for serving
Instructions

Blend chilies, garlic, paprika, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, red bell pepper, and salt into a smooth marinade.

Score the spatchcocked chicken all over with deep cuts. Rub marinade everywhere, getting into the cuts.

Marinate at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.

Preheat grill to medium-high or oven to 425°F.

Grill skin-side down for 15 minutes, then flip and grill 15 more minutes. Or roast in oven for 35-40 minutes.

Baste with extra marinade while cooking.
