- 11 cup rice
- 21 cup brown lentils
- 31 cup elbow macaroni
- 42 large onions, thinly sliced
- 51 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 63 cloves garlic, minced
- 72 tbsp white vinegar
- 81 tsp cumin
- 91/2 tsp chili flakes
- 10Vegetable oil for frying
- 11Salt to taste

Cook lentils in water until tender but not mushy, about 20 minutes. Drain.

Cook rice separately, about 18 minutes. Cook macaroni according to package. Drain both.

Fry sliced onions in oil until very crispy and dark brown, about 12-15 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Make sauce: Sauté garlic in 1 tbsp oil for 30 seconds. Add crushed tomatoes, vinegar, cumin, chili flakes, and salt. Simmer 10 minutes.

Layer in bowls: rice on the bottom, then lentils, then macaroni.
