- 11 lb boneless chicken or lamb, cubed
- 22 tbsp curry powder
- 31 tsp turmeric
- 41 tsp cumin
- 52 medium potatoes, cubed
- 61 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 71 large onion, diced
- 83 cloves garlic, minced
- 91 inch ginger, grated
- 102 tbsp vegetable oil
- 111 cup chicken broth
- 121 unsliced white bread loaf (half loaf per serving)
- 13Fresh cilantro
- 14Salt to taste

Heat oil in a pot. Cook onion until golden, 5 minutes. Add garlic and ginger, cook 1 minute.

Add curry powder, turmeric, and cumin. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add meat and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add diced tomatoes, potatoes, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until meat is tender and potatoes are cooked.

Cut a half loaf of white bread. Hollow out the center (save the bread plug).

Fill the bread bowl with hot curry, top with cilantro, and cap with the bread plug. Eat by tearing off pieces of bread and scooping the curry.
